**CSI DELIVERS 1,100 tCO₂ CARBON REMOVAL CREDITS FROM PILOT PROJECT**
Houston, TX – February 20, 2024 – Carbon Sequestration Inc. (CSI) has completed the sale and delivery of 1,100 metric tons of carbon removal credits (tCO₂) from its 2022 pilot biomass burial project, sold at $126 per ton to a private buyer.
“These credits mark a major milestone for CSI and show strong market interest in our innovative carbon capture technology,” said CEO Christopher Knop.
CSI is now delivering an additional 4,500 Carbon Removal Certificates (CORCs) using its Puro.earth-certified Terrestrial Storage of Biomass method and expects to reach 10,000 tons of carbon removal capacity in 2024.
