**Carbon Sequestration Inc. Finalizes Delivery of 1,100 tCO2 Carbon Dioxide Removal Credits from 2023 Sale**

HOUSTON, TX – Carbon Sequestration Inc. (CSI), a pioneer in the biomass burial industry based in East Texas, is pleased to announce the successful sale of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits amounting to 1,100 metric tons of CO2 (tCO2) to a private entity at the competitive price of $126.00 per tCO2. These credits are the result of CSI's pilot biomass burial projects carried out in 2022 and passed internal verification in late 2023. It should be noted that these credits are not yet eligible for independent verification on a recognized registry.

The completion of this sale marks a significant stride for the company, reflecting confidence in CSI's innovative approach to carbon sequestration. The pilot projects conducted in the previous year are fundamental in demonstrating the practicality and the efficiency of the biomass burial method in tackling carbon emissions.

Christopher Knop, CEO of CSI, expressed optimism: "The sale and delivery of 1,100 tCO2 from our pilot project at Hardin gives us much-needed momentum heading into 2024. This transaction not only supports our mission to provide credible CDR solutions but also validates the market interest in our cutting-edge technology."

In addition to the completed sale, CSI is actively in the process of delivering an additional 4,500 Carbon Removal Certificates (CORCs) utilizing the established Terrestrial Storage of Biomass methodology as defined by Puro.earth, a leader in standard-setting for carbon removal certification. This methodology underscores CSI's commitment to scientific rigor and environmental accountability.

Looking ahead to the remainder of 2024, CSI is on track to significantly scale its operations with an anticipated total production capacity of 10,000 tons of carbon removal via biomass burial. This growth trajectory reflects CSI's ongoing dedication to combating climate change through sustainable carbon sequestration practices.

Investor and partner engagement continues to play a pivotal role in CSI's progress, and this latest advancement underscores the high potential and impactful nature of biomass burial for long-term carbon removal. As CSI fosters partnerships and seeks to align with registries for verification, the company is poised for global leadership in this sector.
